reviews by email
reviews by email makes it easy for you to send reviews without coming to the site. in order to begin using the reviews by email system you need to create an ‘email alias’. your alias is a unique email address ({alias}@r.moviestring.com) that allows us to verify that it’s really you sending in the review. it’s very important that you never tell people what you alias is, or anyone can send in reviews under your account.
once you set up your alias, send reviews to your alias; with the title of the movie in the subject line and your review in the body. if you’re not 100% sure of the movie title or how to spell it, don’t worry just enter your best guess in the subject and the next time you come to the site we’ll ask you to pick the right title.
setting up your alias is pretty simple. follow the steps below and you’ll be all set.
- go to the profile section: moviestring.com/profile (you must be logged in)
- go to the section labeled “review email alias”
- enter or change the alias listed
- hit ’save’
it’s that easy. now you can start sending reviews by email to {alias}@r.moviestring.com. make sure you notice the “r” in the address. also remember you still need to send from the email address you registered with.
